What does this mean?

Dear Stephen,

Thank you for your request. The presented object is a figurine with the measurements of 16" high. It depicts the goddess of the hunt Artemis or Diana with a hunting dog and a putto. This figurine was made in bronze and is signed by Albert-Ernest DE CARRIER BELLEUSE. The surface and the details are a hint that this is a later recast of the original bronzes of this French artist who were made in a large number in the late 19th and early 20th century mostly in France. Nevertheless, this is a highly decorative bronze which has its market value.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 400 to 800 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

With best regards,
Georg
