What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be japanese kimono, silk crêpe, painted, dyed and partly embroidered, lined with silk, light foxing inside. The decorative design of flowers and shade of pastel colours might indicate that this is a mid 20th century piece. Although japanese silk robes are very expensive when new, this does apply to used clothing. The estimate is based on similar offered or sold in western auctions.
