What does this mean?

This is a brown glazed Studio Art Pottery bowl from the 2nd half of the 20th century; it is not Asian and more than likely American. There are Art Pottery Studios across the United States and many times in smaller towns. The pieces are sold for decorative purposes and to enhance local business for artisans. This bowl was formed by being thrown on a pottery wheel. These were generally illegibly signed. The estimate varies by size and is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
