This appears to be chinese carved blanket chest, featuring a lift top storage over five drawers, carved chinese landscape scenes in the tradition of cantonese export furniture on the front and on the sides. Production date possibly mid 20th century. Similar chests were made in large numbers in the 1960s and 1970s. The estimate is based on similar near identical chest of drawers sold at well advertised auctions. "Asking prices" in the trade are usually higher and can vary.
