This is vintage china from Bavaria with a courting couple as the central decoration. The china was produced by STW and the pattern is referred to only as "SBV". These were produced in West Germany and date to the late 1950s. Although the gold is real, there is no longer a precious metal meltdown value as the cost to extract the gold would exceed the value of the amount extracted. If wanting to add more pieces of this pattern, you would contact replacements.com and add a request for pattern with them. It is unclear from your posting how many pieces you recently acquired.
