What does this mean?

A chinese hand carved wood partly gilt wall panel relief, depicting three peonies and foliage. The peony is considered a queen of flowers, a flower of wealth and nobility. The flower also symbolizes a beautiful young woman. It would be plausible that this wood carving was once part of a wall panel in a women´s room during the late Qing dynasty. The gilt frame enhances the value.
