What does this mean?

The urn form designs are signed E. Fuchs for the Austrian/American sculptor, artist and author, Emil Fuchs (1866-1929). The material here appears to be spelter, which is a pot metal. The urn form design itself is from circa 1900. These were likely originally made as decorative urns and later converted to lamp bases. I personally do not recommend handling the repair of these and to leave that to the next owner. The repairs may be cost prohibitive and exceed the value of the lamps themselves. The estimate is for a pair and based on actual past auction sales of comparables and the condition is factored in as well.
