Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a chinese late 20th century bowenite disc shaped carving of carp and pearls. According to chinese mythology a carp can be a transformation of a dragon. The stone carving in your possession was treated with acid and oils to give it some "age". In itself it is well composed and decorative stone carving worth in the 100-200 USD range, but the artificial patination was made to deceive the buyer, which makes it not authentic. Forgeries have a decorative value only. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
