What does this mean?

This is a framed vintage, 3rd quarter of the 20th century large, Mid Century Modern style, wall-sized painting in a muted palette depicting a fantasy European street scene. It is signed Lee Reynolds and done in the ilk of Bernard Buffet. This was a popular style in that era and most works were created by unlisted, commercial artists who created original decorative wall art that was sold through furniture and department stores. Lee Reynolds was not one person, but instead a collective of artists who produced works in a conveyer belt fashion. These are intended as wall decor moreso than fine art for investment purposes. The size and Mid Century Modern style will aid in sale-ability. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
