What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be war time WWII survey clock or nautical chronometer manufactured by Hamilton Watch Co. in Lancaster, PA. Similar are sold at auction. Recent auction results were in the price range listed, some lower results were also listed, but I assume here the condition was an issue. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.

Supposedly only 212 of the "sidereal" versions made.
