Please add clear, in-focus extreme close-ups of the surface so I can see the texture, as well as the characters over the figures in the center.

Unfortunately no, I am Vietnamese and have no knowledge of the characters that appear in this painting.
Unfortunately my camera equipment may not be adequate for capturing micro-details that could identify the texture, but I did my best to photograph the borders as well as some up-close shots of various parts of the painting.
