What does this mean?

The Lladro figurine entitled the Virgin of Monserrat or Virgen de Montserrat (number 01012337) was designed by Francisco Catalá and issued from 1996 - 2003. The figure is based on the the Black Madonna statue in the Santa Maria de Montserrat monastery in Catalonia, Spain that is believed to be from the 12th century. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.

Many years ago I paid $1,300 at a Dealer of Lladro. How can it be valued for less? I am not selling it and is not an auctioned value that I want.

You had paid a maximum retail asking price. The passage of time does not create an equal and exponential rise in value. Since the Recession, values of objects, such as Lladro figurines, have been negatively impacted.
