What does this mean?

This is a luster vase that was produced by the Royal Pilkington's Lancastrian Pottery from Clifton, Greater Manchester, England. The affixed paper label is a provenance label that states that in 1980 this vase was part of an 'antique' show exhibition on Pilkington's Lancastrian Pottery that was put together by Richard Dennis. Dennis is considered an authority on English pottery and he is an author of English Pottery and antique books. The luster vase here is dated 1926 and signed with the initials, WSM, for the Pilkington's designer, William S Mycock (1872-1950). The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
