What does this mean?

This is a vintage 20th century vase with a brown drip glaze. The mark is not Rookwood, nor is this in the Rookwood style. The mark, which is incised onto a sprigged piece on the underside is not very clear. It could either be an Asian origin signature or an illegible monogram for a studio art pottery artisan. This is typical for the style of art studio pottery. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
