Sea scape
Have received this painting as a gift from a client who died 6 years ago. She said she received it as a wedding gift in the late 30's. I'm assuming it was already old when she got it. The signature reads " Ch Galibert" maybe? Not too sure!

Thank you for the additional information and your patience. The presented object is a painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurements of 24 x 18 inches. It depicts a coastal scene while low tide with a stranded boat and sunrise or sunset in the background. The painting is signed with the name "Ch. Galibert". Sadly no artist with such a name is mentioned in auction record lists or similar databases. This painting was probably made in France or Belgium in the late 19th or early 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 300 to 600 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
