Three eared painted clay pot

Description

This pot is approximately 7 1/2" tall, and 5 1/4" across the mouth. It is red clay that has been painted and is peeling in many areas. It is decorated with floral and geometric designs. There is no marking anywhere. The bottom is concave.

What does this mean?

This appears to be a mexican traditional Hidalgo earthenware pottery vase, red clay, incised and decorated with a varying engobes, with three loop handles. Such pottery is made in remote potteries after ancient traditions. Judging from the flower ornaments the vase was made in the 20th century. The estimate is based on similar items sold at auction.
