Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a last quarter 20th century painting, depicting a whiskey stoneware jug, red holly berries and white flowers. The painting is signed lower left V.Vawter. Unfortunately no artist with that name and working in this style is listed. It is most likely a very talented amateur artist or the name is simply a pseudonym. The estimate is based on similar paintings by lesser known artists offered or sold at auction.
