What does this mean?

This violin was crafted in the 1880s by Louis Löwenthal in his Dresden workshop, this industrious luthier is better known with his americanized name Lowendall. The violin was copied after a Guarneri model. The crack unfortunately has a negative impact on the value. A comparable Lowendall violin in good condition would have a value of 300-500,- USD.
There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the violin.
