Thank you for submitting this item for appraisal. This appears to be german oak armchair, with a CNC carved armrests and backrest, turned and CNC carved legs. The backrest is decorated with a CNC carved relief, depicting a cellar master, monk and teacher enjoying a glass of wine or two. Possibly inspired by an Eduard Grützner genre painting. This type of furniture was a repetition of the neo-renaissance furniture of the late 19th century, re-introduced in the 1970s.
The anatomically correct shaped seat surface will make it a very comfortable chair to sit on. Unfortunately the style is not very much in fashion right now. The estimate is based on similar chairs sold or offered at auction.
