What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a reclining Buddha statue form Birma / Burma, today´s Myanmar. The provenance that accompanies the statue is most interesting and should help to add some value to the Buddha Figurine. Alabaster is very easy to work with and similar statues were made in large numbers during the 19th century. Asking prices for art objects from Myanmar are surprisingly low, compared to similar antiques from China. As soon as collectors from Myanmar discover their own heritage, prices will rise. Currently this is hardly the case. The estimate is based on similar offered or sold at auction.
