Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a cast resin statue in the manner of Thai Buddha statues. The Buddha is depicting seated in Lotus Position on a Lotus Throne. The upper part is of transparent amber colour, the base has an opaque mixture and is painted with goldtone colour. The underside shows open air bubbles which proof that the object was cast. The Tozai Company label confirms that the piece was Hand made in Thailand. This is a home decor item of mostly highly decorative value. The estimate is based on similar decorative items sold at auction. Trade prices might be higher.
