What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

The item appraised is a late 20th century brass charger, with engraved Egyptian scenes and what appears to be glyphs. The plate is in the Egyptian style, but there is no evidence that the item was produced in Egypt. This is purely a decorative piece with no inherent value, other than decorative. If it was indeed produced in Egypt, it was most likely for the tourist trade.

Kind regards,
Corey
