This is a vintage 12" long costume jewelry necklace with the oval Miriam Haskell tag on it. The addition of the patent number 342769(1) is for the patent on the 'new' type of clasp on Haskell necklaces that was used from 1975 to about 1985. The necklace consists of baroque style simulated pearls, amethyst stones, gold tone metal, rhinestones and a banded amethyst pendant.
