52" tall 15" wide hand carved, hand painted, very old (18th century?) monkey king wooden statue, very heavy probably over 80 pounds, carved from one piece of wood

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a 20th century carved wood statue of General Guang Yu 關羽 or a martial door god men shen 武門神. The "umbrella" is a later addition. The gilding is of gold color but made from sheet metal paint. It is a very decorative statue but not very old.
