What does this mean?

Dear Doreen,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please upload a few better images of the connection between the frame which carries the plate and the legs?

With kind regards,
Georg

I’ve added more pics to the collection. The lady Table is very heavy for its size. The Phoenix Table is a lighter wood.

Dear Doreen,

Thank you for your fast response and patience. The presented objects are two side tables with Onyx stone table plates. They have carved figurines as legs. One two women and the other an eagle or Phonix. The measurements are 24 1/2” H 24 3/4” L 15” and 23” H. 14 1/2” D. Both tables are made in the late 19th more probable in the early 20th century. Besides the ornaments, Onyx was a very common material for decorative arts in this time.
Both pieces are in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 300 to 600 USD for each table.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

With best regards,
Georg
