Such dolls were produced in large numbers in Asia, e.g. South Korea and sold during the late 20th / early 21st century to a then flourishing "collectors" market. Currently the market has shiftet away from these modern interpretations of victorian porcelain head dolls. The estimate is based on actual auction results for similar dolls (2) sold at auction.
